Our Story
Born in the heights of the Kabylie mountains in Algeria, having lived in a modest village where almost every family has at least one sheep, a goat or a cow, chickens, and roosters, some have small herds. These animals have always lived in complete freedom in the mountains, they did not know the taste of GMOs apart from natural grass and hay harvested the previous season. That said, the true taste of fresh meat is forever anchored in the brain of the owner of the Berber Butchery, this taste which unfortunately has almost disappeared nowadays, which is why the meat sold in the Berber butcher's shop will be the most authentic that can be found on the market. Added to this are the experience acquired over the years in the food quality department, which is detailed below, and management studies.
The owner of the Berber Butcheryhas more than 10 years of experience in the quality control department in the meat industry in different companies under federal inspection in Canada, having held various positions in quality departments, from quality control technician to quality manager, spending several years as HACCP/SQF coordinator. that said, hygiene and cleanliness standards are the priority.
The mission of the Berber butchery is to offer the customer confidence before the product,
